Expert Interview: “Working Smoke Detectors Save Lives!”
October is Fire Prevention Month. Every year in the United States, about 3,000 people lose their lives in residential fires. One of the leading causes of death is from the inhalation of smoke and toxic gases, not from burns. Smoke travels farther and faster than flames.
