AAA was founded over 100 years ago for the purpose of lobbying for driver and passenger rights, fair laws and safer vehicles — all to better promote the love of the open road and the adventure of driving. My AAA membership card even gets me a discount at a Napa Auto and the Gap Outlet and those are just the two that I have discovered so far! They also offer travel services, maps, point to point directions, and many other great services for vacation planning.
As someone that has a teenager that will be driving soon, I look forward to knowing that I can call AAA when she runs out of gas for the first time or locks her keys in her car, rather than stopping what I am doing and driving to her rescue!
